The point is to convey the variety and richness in which we can engage with the future. I will briefly summarise the work on Heritage Futures I have been involved in over the past decade, presently in the context of a UNESCO Chair on Heritage Futures.

I am a Professor of Archaeology and since 2017 I hold the UNESCO Chair on Heritage Futures at Linnaeus University, Kalmar, Sweden. I grew up in Germany, conducted my Doctoral research in the UK and have been living in Sweden since 2002. My research interests are in contemporary archaeology, heritage theory and heritage futures.
